The MASRC is beyond excited to offer a Water Polo program for youth 4 - 15 years old. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this program is for you! Led by experienced Water Polo coaches, our sessions provide a supportive environment for skill development.
Water polo is a combination of many sports, like swimming, basketball, soccer, team handball, and wrestling. Many of the skills and strategies those sports use, water polo combines them. Kids as young as 4 or 5 can start water polo. To begin with, this is just like swimming lessons but with a ball and goal thrown in for some extra fun.
Benefits:
The only requirement is that participants must be able to swim safely in the deep end-typically this means being able to complete 2-4 continuous laps without stopping. If you're unsure of your child's swimming ability, please reach out so we can discuss and, if needed, arrange a swim evaluation.
