About Indigenous Women's Fitness Class - Movement is Medicine

Designed especially for Indigenous women aged 30 and up, this gentle and supportive fitness class is the perfect first step. We create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can move your body, build confidence, and connect with others on a similar path. Each session includes beginner-friendly exercises like light cardio, stretching, and strength-building movements all tailored to your pace and comfort level. We also weave in elements of wellness and community that reflect Indigenous values.

Program Details

📆Dates: Every Sunday for 20 weeks:
September 7, 14, 21, 28, 2025.
October 5, 12, 19, 26, 2025.
November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 2025.
December 7, 14, 21, 28, 2025.
January 4, 11, 18, 2026.

🕓Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

🙌Ages: For Indigenous women & 2SLBGTQ 30 years and up.

📍Location: Canlan Sports (1871 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, MB)

🪙Cost: $50 with 24 spots available.
