Community Consulting
What We Offer
Visiting communities is at the heart of what we do as an organization. We love to meet with any and all community members throughout Manitoba that are helping build sport and recreation.
Each community consulting visit may include:
- Meetings with Chief & Council, education, health and community volunteers
- Facilitate or lead gym classes
- Facilitate or lead afterschool sessions for youth in the sport or activity that the community requests
- Connecting communities with provincial sport organizations
- Connecting recreation leaders with training, mentorship, and program opportunities
- Connect communities with coaching opportunities
- Helping develop and create sports and recreation programs, leagues, or teams
- Helping to develop Long-Term Athletic Development pathways for community programs & initiatives
- Follow-up visits to build relationships with communities
*This program is great for communities that currently do not have Physical Education teachers, or have a lack of experienced teachers.
