We Need Your Feedback on the Aboriginal Coaching Modules!

May 27, 2026

The Aboriginal Sport Circle (ASC) is currently undertaking a review of the Aboriginal Coaching Modules, led by an independent third-party research team. This work is intended to ensure the program remains relevant, culturally grounded, and responsive to the needs of coaches and communities across the country.

The ASC engaged with Elders, PTASBs, and ACM Master Coach Developers to gather feedback on the study approach and data collection tools (survey and interview guide). These documents are now finalized, and we are prepared to begin the data collection phase. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, consisting of an online survey followed by an invitation to participate in an interview.

The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and will remain open until August 14, 2026.

Please access the survey here: Survey Link

The ASC is pleased to be moving this work forward following strong interest in reviewing the program. Findings will be shared with members and will help inform the future direction of the Aboriginal Coaching Modules.

If you have any questions about the study or data collection process, please do not hesitate to reach out to Jacob Ruest, Aboriginal Coaching Program Coordinator at the Aboriginal Sport Circle, by email or phone.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping ensure this work reflects the voices and experiences of our communities.
