The MASRC Announces their Major Annual Award Winners
WINNIPEG, MB (April 7, 2023) - The Manitoba Aboriginal Sports & Recreation Council (MASRC) is excited to announce this year's Major Award Winners. Every year, the MASRC opens nominations for the following awards: Indigenous Athlete of the Year, Indigenous Coach of the Year, and Indigenous Volunteer of the Year.
This year, the MASRC was pleased to receive so many excellent applications, detailing the success, involvement, and effort of so many Indigenous Peoples throughout the province. In response, the MASRC is proud to name the following recipients of this year's Major Awards:

The Major Awards are an opportunity to showcase the incredible individuals that strive for excellence on the field, the court, or in a hockey rink. They serve as examples and role models, inspiring a new generation to continue uplifting their communities and promoting change through sport and recreation. The Major Award recipients will be honoured at a ceremony held on April 12th, 2023.
