2025 Manitoba Indigenous Summer Games Hosts Announced
WINNIPEG, MB - December 22, 2023. The Manitoba Aboriginal Sports & Recreation Council Inc. (MASRC) is proud to declare the comeback of the Manitoba Indigenous Summer Games (MISG) in the summer of 2025.
To improve the involvement of Indigenous athletes from across the province, the MIG Committee has chosen to host the Games jointly in Norway House Cree Nation and Sagkeeng Anicinabe Nation.
Following the enthusiasm generated by the 2023 North American Indigenous Games, we are anticipating and taking pride in the renewed offering of MISG, now on a larger and more accessible scale.
