Team Manitoba 2008

The North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) is North America's largest Aboriginal sporting event which will be taking place this year in Cowichan, BC in August of 2008. The Manitoba Aboriginal Sport and Recreation Council with help from the sport managers and coaches, has organized try outs to select the 420 athletes who will have the honor to represent Manitoba at this most prestigious event. In total, there will be over 5000 athletes competing in the games along with 3000 cultural participants gathering for support. Team Manitoba, which is made up of 12 sports in the bantam, midget and juvenile age categories will be sending a delegation of over 500 athletes and coaches to the games. These sports include:

Field Lacrosse (Midget Male)
